Brightstart Montessori Nursery – Fees and Funding
Up to 15 funded hours per week for all families
All 3 and 4 year olds are eligible for up to15 funded hours per week.
This entitlement begins on either the 1st January, 1st April or 1st September following the child’s third birthday, whichever date comes first.

Up to 30 funded hours per week for eligible working families
Some 2, 3 and 4 year olds from eligible working families can receive up to 30 funded hours per week.

Early Learning for 2 year olds: Up to 15 funded hours per week
Some 2 year olds from families who receive extra support, like those on Universal Credit, can receive up to 15 funded hours per week.

All sessions at Brightstart are subject to availability.
Brightstart Weekly Chargeable Extras: (2026/2027)
£12.50 per week for children attending Brightstart on 1, 2 or 3 days per week.
£25.00 per week for children attending Brightstart on 4 or 5 days per week.
This will be invoiced near the start of each term.
Our weekly Chargeable Extras charge will be waived for children with a 2 year old disadvantaged funding code.
Brightstart NW fees from September 2025
Charges for non-funded sessions are based on a rate of £7.50 per hour (increased each September.)

Morning (9:00am – 12:00 midday) £ 22.50
Lunch (12:00 midday – 12:30pm) £ 3.75
Afternoon (12:15pm – 3:15pm) £ 22.50
Whole day (8:45am – 3:15pm) £ 48.75
